Cassidy and Caitlyn make Student Council!

Cassidy and Caitlyn were honored this year to be voted as Student Council Representatives for their school. Cassidy was also voted as Vice President and Caitlyn is the Secretary. Some of their ideas that they have brought to the council are already coming to fruition, such as the food drive that will begin in December for an organization called Breaking Bread. Once again we are proud of them and their accomplishments.

Cassidy and Caitlyn Tennis Season 2008

At the beginning of the Summer Cassidy and Caitlyn played tennis with the base tennis program. I had a lot of fun teaching them what I knew about tennis since it was a sport that I played in high school. We enjoy going to the tennis courts when we have time and playing doubles as a family.

Cassidy and Caitlyn Soccer Season 2008

Cassidy and Caitlyn were on the same team for the first time this year. It was very exciting watching them play together and work together as a team. Their team went undefeated and took first place in the 10 and 11 year old league. Congratulations Cassidy and Caitlyn!

Cassidy Conducts the Marine Corps Band!

The Marine Corps Band aboard the base at Twentynine Palms came out to play for the students at the girls school and Cassidy had the honor of being the only student picked to lead the Band. Watching her feet move to the beat and seeing the big smile on her face was priceless.

Pioneer Days Parade

Cassidy Caitlyn and I rode in the Pioneer days Parade this year sponsored by Condor Elementary PTO. The theme for our float was a hay ride, our trailer was pulled by an antique John Deer Tractor. Keeping with the theme of the float Cassidy wore her scarecrow costume and the rest of the riders were in their Condor Blue Spirit Shirts.

Caitlyn Jellyfish

Caitlyn was the talk of the nieghborhood this year. It was fun seeing people respond to her when they saw her and when they figured out she was a jellyfish. We had several people request to take her picture. She really enjoyed allowing her friends to pop the bubbles on her bubble wrap and getting extra candy because her costume was so creative. We had a lot of fun this year. Caitlyn's favorite part was having her daddy here to trick or treat with since he has been deployed or in another state the last 4 halloweens! Happy Halloween Everyone!
